Leaf Impressions

My leaf pieces are made by pressing leaves into wet clay. I use leaves from the Hedgewitch herb garden during the spring and summer and those collected on woodland walks in the autumn. Once the clay has dried, these impressions are highlighted in paint and varnished. Recent work includes experimenting with twig and wood grain impressions.

Each piece is completely unique and comes beautifully wrapped ready to give as a gift. Leaf pieces are accompanied by a little information sheet on the featured herb or tree.. a special touch for yourself or a friend.

Currently available are Brooches and button badges with secure safety pin fasteners on the reverse, Pendants supplied with leather, cotton or suedette adjustable length necklace, Beads painted in earthy colours and varnished, then strung on knotted leather to be worn as chokers or bracelets, Magnets for your fridge and Decorative Plaques to be hung or stood on bookshelves in your home, having either suspension loop or flat lower edge.
